Why I Named My Parents Community 'Freedom Manthan Gurukul'

Freedom.
A word we all love — but often misunderstand.

Freedom is not indiscipline.
It’s not “Do whatever you want.”

It’s not about letting go of all boundaries.

True freedom comes only after Manthan — after deep inner churning.

Remember the story of the Devas and Asuras churning the ocean to find Amrit?
Before the nectar emerged, they had to face poison.

The same happens in our homes.

When you begin your Freedom Manthan, the first thing that surfaces is the chaos — the noise of control, fear, and expectations.

Only after you churn through that, comes the Amrit — a home that feels harmonious, peaceful, and deeply connected.

But this doesn’t happen automatically.

It doesn’t come with age.

And it definitely doesn’t come without effort.

It comes when you choose to reflect.

When you start unlearning control and relearning connection.
When you stop thinking, “Once my kids grow up, things will settle.”

Because they won’t — unless you consciously create that freedom.

If you still want to monitor every move

If you want to decide every choice

If you can’t trust your child’s natural intelligence

Then you’ll never experience freedom — neither will your child.
You’ll both remain caged — you, in your overthinking and exhaustion;
your child, in their rebellion or quiet withdrawal.

And that’s when you start saying things like,
“I’m fed up.”
“No matter what I do, it’s not enough.”
“I’m tired, but I can’t stop.”

That’s not parenting — that’s surviving.

To raise extraordinary children, you need extraordinary awareness.
And that awareness only comes through Manthan — when you churn your beliefs, your fears, and your patterns.

Because only then does the Amrit rise —
the sweet clarity of knowing that your child is on the right path,
not because you control them,
but because you’ve raised them to trust themselves.

So ask yourself —
Do you want to make it a little hard now and enjoy peace later,
or keep toiling forever, feeling unheard and uncertain?

If your child is around 7 or older —
this is the time to begin your Freedom Manthan.
